  • Nowak Takes Jennett Title, Ties for Nation's No. 3 in Pentathlon
    UNI senior Olimpia Nowak matched the nation's No. 3 score in the pentathlon on Friday afternoon at the Jack Jennett Invitational in the UNI-Dome, scoring 4,008 points on her way to the multi-event crown. Nowak was only eight points short of her school record of 4,016, set during her freshman season in 2008.
  • UNI, Drake Set for Knapp Center Showdown Sunday
    The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball team (12-7, 5-3 MVC) travels to the Knapp Center in Des Moines, Iowa, for a Missouri Valley Conference matchup with the Drake Bulldogs on Sun., Jan. 29. Tip is set for 2 p.m.
  • Slow Start Dooms Panthers at Creighton, 65-50
    OMAHA, Neb. -- The University of Northern Iowa women's basketball team outscored Creighton over the final 20 minutes, but a slow start was too much for the Panthers to overcome as they fell 65-50 on Friday night at D.J. Sokol Arena.
  • Panther Wrestlers Squeak Past Utah Valley
    The University of Northern Iowa (5-3, 3-0) edged the Utah Valley Wolverines (3-7, 0-3) Friday lt;br />with a 24-18 dual victory.
  • Panther Tennis Opens Spring Season at Home
    The UNI women's tennis team will begin the spring season at home where they will host the South Dakota State Jackrabbits on Sunday.
