  • W. Soccer. Panthers To Host Hawkeyes Sunday
    The University of Northern Iowa women's soccer team will host in-state rival Iowa on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Cedar Valley Soccer Complex. UNI is looking for its first win of the 2010 season and its first-ever victory over the Hawkeyes.
  • W. Volleyball. Payton Named Top Performer by Collegiate Volleyball Update
    The University of Northern Iowa's Bre Payton was named one of Collegiate Volleyball Update's Top Performers. The website named a CVU.com Player of the Week, in addition to selecting 10 student-athletes as Top Performers.
  • W. Volleyball. Panthers Head to Minnesota for Diet Coke Classic
    The University of Northern Iowa volleyball team (3-0) faces their toughest test of the 2010 season this weekend, facing two ranked opponents at the Diet Coke Classic hosted by the University of Minnesota. The Panthers will take on No. 20-ranked Dayton Friday evening before facing No.8-ranked Minnesota Saturday morning followed by a meeting with Baylor Saturday night.
  • Cross Country. UNI Set to Open Season at Bulldog Classic
    The University of Northern Iowa cross country teams will open the 2010 season on Fri., Sept. 3, at the Bulldog Classic hosted by Drake University. Both races will be 4 kilometers, starting with the women's race at 2 p.m. The men's and women's teams both return seven runners from last season's Missouri Valley Conference Championship meet lineups.
  • M. Basketball. Former Coach Jim Berry Passes Away
    Jim Berry, who served the University of Northern Iowa men's basketball coach from 1973-1986, passed away this morning. Berry was 73.

    Welcome to the 2010-2011 UNI Women's Swimming and Diving Team! This year we will be starting something new, The Pantherette Diaries! This will be our team's personal journal, each member of the team will be designated a week for an entry where you will get to see what it is like to be in their shoes and be a member of this awesome team J We will also be adding stories from the week and posting pictures of the various activities we do to highlight our season. So get ready to read about some crazy weeks of laughter, practices, bus trips, and success. ENJOY!
