After a three hour rain delay, the University of Northern Iowa track and field program got things underway in the second day of competition at the NCAA West Preliminary Round with sophomore Sebastian Barth qualifying for the quarterfinals in the 110 meter hurdles.

The University of Northern Iowa volleyball squad is headed to Europe for its foreign tour on May 12-23. lt;br />The Panthers will take part in matches as well as tour spots in France (Paris, Montpellier, Istre and Nice), Italy (Pisa, Florence, Cinque Terre and Torino) and Spain (Barcelona) over the two weeks.

Senior Jordan Williams punched his ticket to the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore., today after placing in the top 12 of the discus competition at the 2013 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field West Preliminary Round.

The University of Northern Iowa track and field program will send nine student-athletes to the 2013 NCAA Division I West Preliminary Round in Austin, Texas this week as they get ready to compete May 23-25. The Panthers will compete in 13 events while in Austin, all vying for a spot to compete at the NCAA Championships in Eugene, Ore.
