The University of Northern Iowa softball team fell to the No. 13-ranked Stanford Cardinal this evening, 4-1 in an NCAA Lincoln Regional elimination game.

In our final Panther Sports Talk of the 2011-2012 athletic season, we sat down with Dan Steele to recap the UNI Track & Field teams outdoor season following the MVC Championships. We also featured senior center fielder Allison Galvin from the MVC regular season champion UNI softball team, and a senior thrower of the hammer throw, Tanner Hurt. And a big salute goes out to Olimpia Nowak as she finishes her track & field career as one of the most decorated female track athletes in UNI history.
